About the Project:
Designed with Marchelle Matthew.
Meaning 'shadow play', 'Ombromanie' is the act of light projecting shadows onto a surface to be viewed by an audience, a concept which reflected the graduates' experiences at university.
A dynamic warped type identity for the exhibition was produced using a flat-bed scanner to create imagery that represented the movement, perspective and effect of shadows. Every shadow encountered is different and unexpected, as is the wide variety of work by the students in the exhibition. This concept was pushed in the layout for the exhibition catalogue, posters, invites and website.
